The music ministry of the Good Hope Missionary Baptist Church is a vehicle of evangelism whose membership is open to everyone. As a religious ceremony, vocal music first appears in Exodus 15:1, 20 in the antiphonal song led by Miriam in celebration of the passage through the Red Sea. Our music ministry encompasses various musical idioms. Our goal is to lift the human spirit through spirituals, anthems, hymns, traditional and contemporary gospel songs. Our purpose is to serve God and empower church and community through the ministry of music. The Music Ministry meets every Monday at 5:00 P.M. (see calendar).
