Greetings friends in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus the Christ! It is with the joy of Christ that we greet you today. Thank you for taking time to view our website and learn more about us at Good Hope Missionary Baptist Church (GHMBC). We are truly a church “Where everybody is somebody in the Lord.” For it is written according to Matthew 20:26, Yet it shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to become great among you, let him be your servant.

We are a church that loves to praise and worship the Lord. The Bible teaches us that according to Psalm 34:1, "I will bless the Lord at all times; his praise shall continually be in my mouth". As believers in Christ Jesus, it is our duty to make sure that the manifestation of hospitality is rendered to each visitor at GHMBC. One of our greatest attributes as a body is that we have the gift of hospitality. We believe God has called us to bring people together in him for the purpose of serving the world and ministering to people from every aspect of life.

GHMBC is a “willing vessel” for Christ. We are blessed to have humble people of God with various gifts, talents and skills; people who are ready, willing and able to use those gifts, talents, and skills in service for others.
My brothers and sisters, there is nothing better than to be in a community of faith where people “serve” not because they want to see what they can get in return, but because they know they have already received more than they could ever hope for; and that is the wonderful gift of salvation and blessed fellowship with Christ.
As Saints of God, we must never forget the words of the Reverend Dr. Adam Clayton Power, Jr., where he clearly states: “do not be like the theological twisters, ministerial mountebanks, pulpit pounders, and clerical clowns, for they will have their day when the book of life is opened according to the book of Revelations.
